The articles below provide a sample of some of British Wildlife’s early articles on woodlands and their management. These have now become standard texts on the subject and also reflect changing attitudes to woodland management in the 1990s.

It contains a series of important articles from a range of experts, including Frans Vera, on the re-wilding and naturalistic grazing debate in the UK and beyond.
