The Filey Brigg Project

The Filey Brigg Project started life in 1994 at a pub in Scarborough. A small group of people were planning the launch of a Yorkshire Coast Group of the Marine Conservation Society, and were looking for a survey project in which their members could take part and which would hopefully engender an interest in marine conservation among the wider public.
