"The conversation in the riverside pub turned to piscatory subjects, but the anglers involved were not human. I was told of a Cormorant that had great difficulty in coping with a large Eel. The fish was very much alive and wriggling, but the Cormorant dealt with it by repeatedly tossing it in the air and catching it again, and so working along the Eel's body until its head could be taken in the bill and its body slowly engulfed."
