The Conservation of British Fens

Fenland evokes for many people an image of huge, peaty fields strtching to the horizon. Bare and bleak in winter, colourful in summer as the linseed and mustard flowers contrast with the blue sky. This is my picture of Fenland. That low-lying part of eastern England between Lincolnshire, and Cambridgeshire and part of Norfolk covers more than 3,000km2.
