Alastair Lavery

Alastair Lavery is a Scotland-based arachnologist interested in the spiders of the UK and the South Atlantic islands. His work in the UK focuses on the northern half of Scotland, while the work in the South Atlantic is focused on the Falkland Islands and South Georgia, where he has discovered several new species as well as many species not previously recorded from the islands. He is vice president and librarian of the British Arachnological Society.
