James Robertson

James Robertson's passion for nature started early and lead him to a career as an author/editor, and books and articles on subjects from bats and butterflies to plants. He was founder-editor of the nature journal Natur Cymru – Nature of Wales (2001–17); he manages land for wildlife, looking after Flea Sedge and Ashy Mining Bee, alongside which he has a keen interest in the broader challenges facing nature conservation in a human-dominated world.
James’s column, flying kites: a view from Wales, appears three times per volume, and he also writes the Welsh plants column in the wildlife reports.
