Pádraic Fogarty

Pádraic Fogarty is an ecologist and environmental scientist. He was chair of the Irish Wildlife Trust (IWT) from 2008 to 2012 and editor of Irish Wildlife magazine from 2009 to 2017. He is currently campaign officer with the IWT, working on addressing the extinction crisis. He is author of the 2017 book Whittled Away – Ireland's vanishing nature and lives in Dublin.
Pádraic writes regularly for British Wildlife in his biannual column, the Strawberry Tree.
