Twitcher in the Swamp

"I see that London is about to recieve onr more war memorial before we all turn our faces towards the fun-filled future. This is to take the form fo a 'monumental' scultpure commemorating all the various animals 'from elephants, mules and camels to horses, dogs and pigeons, which supported our forces and died for the nation'/ They think that it would look particularly nice at Hyde Park Corner, next to the Wellington Arch and the Artillery Memorial. One can only hope that the descendants of those heroic pigeons will have the decency to crap somewhere else."
