"The high point in my very brief and sporadic television career was an appearance on The Danny Baker Show. He was starting a new weekly item called 'Everything you think you know is wrong'. The first 'factoid' to be disssected was 'Lemmings jump over cliffs'. It appeared that several leading mammalogists (strictly, mammalologists?) had been approached but had quickly shied away. I had never heard of Danny Baker and immediately accepted the invitation."
