Through a naturalist’s eyes

"Instead of looking at birds out of the window, I have been thinking about the problems of attitudes – both changing and entrenched – towards garden wildlife. This was prompted by plans to rewrite my book on garden birds. This is now such a popular subject that the book has been the only one of some three dozen that has made me serious money."
