Through a naturalist’s eyes

"My local marina is an old gravel pit that now connects with the River Great Ouse. Although choc-a-bloc with boats, it is a haven for wildlife, ranging from Common Seal and Coot, to Freshwater Sponge and Zebra Mussel. One species that can be relied upon to be present and always makes a visit worthwhile is the Great Crested Grebe."
