Are British bats at risk from windfarms?

It is now widely accepted that the emission of large volumes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels is one of the primary cause of climate change. In an attempt to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, the British Government has set itself a stringent target of generating a significant proportion of Britain's electricity from renewable sources by 2010.
