"As I write this, the west of the country is being battered by storms. Yet this has not stopped me from thinking ahead to my summer trip to Cornwall and the possibilities it may offer. Days spent fossicking on the shore will be a priority. With a marine biologist for a father, the seaside of my childhood was more than buckets and spades and sandcastles."
