"If you live around Cambridge, one of the best ways of enjoying a day out with nature is to head to the north Norfolk coast. It is just as flat as home, but you can find an atmosphere of wildness. Avoid the birdwatching honeypots and seek the solitude of the saltmarshes and sand dunes. A cold winter's day in the middle of the week offers good opportunities, although the solitude comes at the price of a chilled body."
