Through a naturalist’s eyes

"I am not very mobile at the moment, so I have taken to walking a short distance to a spot where I can sit quietly in the sun and out of the wind. I never have to wait long before there is something worth watching. This it the time of year for communal activities among the bird population, and their antics provide plenty of amusement."
