The state of the UK’s butterflies

A decade ago, the UK Government and its counterparts across the European Union (EU) ambitiously pledged to halt the decline of biodiversity by 2010, in addition to the Convention on Biological Diversity’s global target to reduce the rate of biodiversity loss over the same time period.
