Flying kites: a view from Wales

"A bright, cold winter's day. The tide is out. Across the mudflats Curlews and Oystercatchers are distant specks probing the mud. Nearby is a nature reserve. A line of cars with unfamiliar registrations tells me that something exciting has arrived. The first hide looks out on to a spectacular display of feeders and bird food. It is feeding time at the bird zoo."
