"Purchased and established as a nature reserve in 2005 by Medway Council and Plantlife, Ranscombe Farm comprises a mix of arable, woodland and grassland managed by Plantlife. The site is notable particularly for its rich and diverse assemblages of arable flora, which include Corncockle
Agrosternma githago, Ground-pine Ajuga chamaepitys, Blue Pimpernel Anagallis arvensis ssp. foemina, Stinking Chamomile Anthemis cotula, Dwarf Spurge Euphorbia exigua, Venus's Looking glass Legousia hybrida, Hairy Mallow Malva setigera, Prickly Poppy Papaver argemone and Rough Poppy P. hybridum, as wel as more common arable plants."
