Reserve Focus – Roudsea Wood and Mosses NNR, Cumbria

Roudsea National Nature Reserve is a wonderfully varied and attractive area, lying at the head of Morecambe Bay. Its unusual blend of salt-marsh, limestone and acid ancient woodland, fen and bog, with ecological gradients between each habitat, supports a fine range of species, including many rarities.
