Atlas 2000 – A New Atlas of Flowering Plants and Ferns

British and Irish botanists are embarking this spring on the most ambitious recording project they have undertaken for 40 years: a new atlas of plant distribution. The aim is to collate existing records, supplement these by four years' intensive fieldwork, and prepare an atlas covering more than 3,000 native and naturalised vascular plant species by September 2000.
