The potential impacts of reducing meat and dairy consumption on wildlife in Britain

The foods we choose to eat and the way in which they are produced have profound impacts on the environment and nature, as well as our own well-being. It is therefore encouraging that numerous analyses have highlighted that healthier diets provide a wealth of other global benefits, including for the climate, biodiversity and food security. 

With consideration paid to human health concerns, climate impacts, land use change and river and air pollution, Graham Tucker investigates whether wildlife within the UK could benefit considerably if we reduced our meat and dairy consumption.
