Reserve Focus – Caenlochan National Nature Reserve, Angus

Caenlochan NNR, and the huge SSSI of which it is a part, lies at the south-eastern edge of the Cairngorm massif. It is a remarkable site, with spectacular glaciated mountain scenery, and one of the best assemblages of mountain plants and animals anywhere in Britain.
