Threats to Britain’s Native Salmon, Trout and Charr

Only in recent years has the human race really become aware of the enormous damage being done to natural resources. Human influence on fresh waters is no exception. The conflict between the demand for large amounts of pure water on the one hand, and the disastrous pollution of many waters on the other, is only now forcing the isue with politicians (in Britain, Europe and even worldwide) in relation to current global problems.
