" 'Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.' I used to interpret King Solomon's words to mean that the ants are themselves wise. In fact, we sluggards are being exhorted to learn from the hard-working ant. I have often gone to the wood ant and considered the ways of the hordes wandering over the woodland floor and climbing the trees."
