Habitat management news

Habitat fragmentation is noted as a factor in the decline of many species, and the process of mitigating for the effects of road schemes on some mammal species is well established. Works being undertaken for a number of schemes in Wales prompted the Countryside Council for Wales and the Transport Directorate of the Welsh Assembly Government to commission a review of work undertaken in Wales in relation to bats.
