Through a naturalist’s eyes

"An armchair naturalist may be not far removed from a couch potato as a figure of scorn, but I have gone one step further and become a bed naturalist. Our house is infested with Daddy-long-legs Spiders Pholcus phalangoides, so I can lie in bed and watch them creep around the ceiling. As predators they look pretty useless."
