Habitat management news

Prior to construction of the South Lowestoft Road, work was carried out to create three new hibernacula for Viviparous Lizards Lacerta vivipara on part of a 3ha area of grassland and gorse scrub known as 'The Ham'. The new road was due to be routed through an existing hibernaculum, and areas adjacent to it were to be set aside as a nature reserve.
