Twitcher in the Swamp

"As autumn gilds the drowsy oaks and garlands the hedgerow with ripening haws, so our thoughts turn naturally to stuffing ourselves. Over the years I have taken a personal interest in sampling as many wild nuts, berries and fungi as possible, partly in a spirit of scientific inquiry, but mostly out of natural greed. Now, this quest of mine seems to be cataching on, with fatal results in one or two cases."
