Twitcher in the Swamp

" 'We must save the Red Squirrel', proclaims the Daily telegraph over a picture of Prince Charles accompanied bu a squirrel named Eddie. 'Without our help, the squirrel is doomed!' adds his interlocutor, Robin Page. Its numbers have fallen from 'several million' to just 120,000, most of them north of the Border where we Englishmen can't see them. The rest have succumbed to the pox, caught off the Grey Squirrel."
