Restoring Lakeland alpineplant communities. The RSPB reserve of Haweswater sits at the eastern edge of the Lake District National Park and forms part of the Cumbrian High Fells. This upland farmed estate covers an area of more than 3,000ha and is managed jointly with the landowners, United Utilities (UU).
