The Munsary Peatlands Reserve, owned and managed by Plantlife, is one of the most easterly areas of blanket bog in Caithness, part of the vast Flow Country, whose international significance was recognised last year with the award of World Heritage Site status (BW 35: 615). This article summarises what has been learnt over its 25 year history as a reserve.
