The introduced Japanese Knotweed, Reynoutria japonica, is increasing and is considered a problem in many areas. A guide to its control is availiable free from the Welsh Development Agency, Pearl House, Greyfriars Road, Cardiff CF1 3XX. The cheapest and most environmentally-friendly way to control it is to mow, cut or pull regularly.
