The following is the list of United Kingdom possible Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) under the Habitats Directive. This list was prepared by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee and published by the Government on the 31st March 1995. This list includes 180 possible sites; 108 in Scotland, 123 in England, 38 in Wales and 17 in Northern Ireland.
