The (re)introduction of grazing in semi-natural habitats is a controversial issue. The reasons for concern may vary from misconceptions about the need for the grazing animals at all, and about the impact that their behaviour will have on visitors and their pets, to problems resulting from insufficient communication between the site managers and the local residents.
