Reserve Focus – Pass of Ryvoan, Speyside

The Pass of Ryvoan is a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve, set high on the slopes of the Cairngorms, near Aviemore. Though small by Scottish standards (121ha), its importance is set to increase as a vital link in the plans for a re-created Caledonian Pine Forest spreading around the western slopes of the Cairngorms.
